DD Dohnes

Looking to increase stud ewe numbers in 2017, Calga purchased 640 of the best ewes from DD Dohnes based at Moama, NSW when the Stud was up for dispersal in early 2017. Calga had already successfully introduced DD bloodline into the stud previously and the ewes would compliment the already established Calga and Uardry Dohne Studs.

The DD Stud along with the Uardry Stud are run as separate studs and follow the same breeding objectives and respective stud advisors and representatives have been retained.

With the combined ewe numbers of the Calga Uardry & DD Studs, make the dohne operation one of the largest Dohne Stud ewe syndicates in Australia.
